In my four years of (part-time) crocheting, I've crocheted at least 100 different hats, using probably 10 different foundation "crochet hat patterns." I love taking a hat pattern, and then building upon it to make it my own (I just wish that I wrote down the rest so that I could sell the patterns!). What I have found after scouring books, ravelry, craftsy, and my many favorite crochet blogs, is that the BEST, EASIEST, and most PERFECT round-nonlopsided-perfect-fit crochet hat pattern is found on Sarah's RepeatCrafterMe crochet blog. Not only has she mastered the art of absolutely adorable crochet (I visit her blog AT LEAST one day a day), but her foundation hat pattern for sizes newborn-adult turn out perfectly.
